Mango season is over

Time for an update!! Short version again as time is sparse here.

- I moved into my house and have 1 madress only. The furniture is not yet ready!!

- Had to change the keys again, as they were low quality and I was either stuck in the house or not able to enter.

- Hired a maid yesterday who will do the cleaning, laundry and cooking. She started this morning. Hope she's good!!

- Have 2 guards now - Jean and Jacques without whom I would encounter a large amount of hazzle everyday at the house from people passing by looking for anything between work, money, furniture, an affaire, friendship, a place to hang out, etc....

- Will continue teaching yoga tonight for UN staff members. Its outdoor on top of the UN building and fun!!

- My french is better, but not quite there yet!! There are so many different accents here to get used to....

-Its raining a lot these days and the roads are terrible. Can't wait till the rainy season is over, although it will then be the dusty season. The roads are a mess with the rain - mud all over!! Yep you notice when without a car!!

- Still figuring out what to do about transport here.......taxis and mopeds are the cheap options, but might be very expensive in the long run as they are life threatening beyond words. Saving up for a small car seems to be in favour!!

-The mango season is over and I'm missing my daily ration more than I thought I would. Papaya, banana and oranges are now in season and make for a great punch!!

- Time to go for lunch at my all time favorite Bara Tapas - french owned restaurant with an outdoor garden filled with exentric art. Love it and the food too........
